Module 3 — Error Handling and Debugging

Retry logic, error workflows, dead-letter queues, execution log analysis, common failure patterns (rate limits, auth expiry, payload drift). How to read the execution log and find the root cause in under 5 minutes.

Exercise: inject a deliberate failure into a staging copy of your workflow. Debug it using only the execution log and error workflow output.

Module 4 — Credentials and Security

Credential store, rotation procedures, environment variables, vault integration patterns, least-privilege API keys. What to never paste inline and why.

Exercise: rotate one credential in your staging environment using the documented procedure. Verify the workflow still executes after rotation.

Module 5 — Maintenance and Upgrades

Version updates (minor and major), backup and restore, monitoring checks, node deprecation handling, docker-compose update flow. How to upgrade without fear.

Exercise: perform a minor-version upgrade on a staging instance following the runbook procedure. Verify all workflows activate correctly post-upgrade.

LMS platform or course hosting. You receive PDFs and JSON files. Host them however you want internally.
Ongoing curriculum updates. The training covers your stack at time of delivery. If workflows change significantly, that's either retainer scope or a new training engagement.
Individual coaching or mentoring. This is team-level documentation, not 1:1 tutoring.

How many team members can use the training?

Unlimited within your organization. The PDFs are yours. Share them with your entire team, new hires, contractors — no per-seat licensing. The training is custom to your workflows so it's not useful to anyone outside your org anyway.

What if our workflows change after delivery?

The training covers your stack at time of delivery. If you add significant new workflows or refactor existing ones, either update the training materials yourself (they're plain PDFs) or commission a refresh engagement.

Can you train on workflows someone else built?

Yes. I read the workflows, understand the architecture, and write the training materials. Doesn't matter who built them. If the original builder left documentation, send that too — it accelerates the curriculum design.

What skill level does the training assume?

I calibrate to your team. If they're developers, I skip basic programming concepts and focus on n8n-specific patterns. If they're ops people with no code background, Module 1 starts from first principles. You tell me the baseline in the intake.

Is there a live walkthrough or only written materials?

Written only. No calls, no live sessions. If your team learns better from video, this isn't the right product. The written format means they can reference it at 2 AM when something breaks without scheduling a call.

What about the Q&A add-on — how does it work?

Your team emails questions to me. I respond in writing within 48 hours. No limit on question count, but each question should be specific and answerable in writing (not “please debug this entire workflow for us” — that's retainer scope).

Can we get just 2 or 3 modules instead of all 5?

No. The 5-module structure is designed as a complete operational foundation. Skipping modules creates gaps. If you only need answers to specific questions, the retainer (SKU I Watch tier) is a better fit.
